Our farm in Marling is a little gem hidden among the apple orchards and vineyards surrounding the spa town of Meran, in South Tyrol. Ours is a land of great scenery, with many cultural and culinary attractions, and we would love to share it with you. And since every person is unique, we offer you a very friendly and individual service.
Summer
Carefree days under the sun in Meran. Go hiking in the car-free Vigiljoch mountain area, take your family to the Marling mountains, or follow the Waalweg paths along ancient irrigation water channels for a great day out… you can go on foot, by bike or even on horseback!
Winter
For ski pros and budding champions. The Meran 2000 ski area is only 10 km away, and you won’t have to go much further to reach the Schnalstaler glacier. From a variety of museums to the magical atmosphere of the traditional Christmas markets, there’s plenty to do and see for everyone!
Spring
A glorious awakening. As nature awakens, the streets and squares of Meran too start buzzing with life and excitement. The warm season is celebrated with a variety of culinary and artistic events, while here at Füchslhof it’s all hands on deck!
Autumn
A captivating spectacle of colours and scents. The South Tyrolean autumn is famous for two things in particular: the traditional Törggelen get-togethers and the blaze of colours that sets the woods and alpine pastures alight, making them a dreamlike setting for leisurely, family-friendly walks. Visiting South Tyrol during the harvest season is a unique experience.
In the vicinity
Located on a hill west of Meran, Marling is at the meeting point of the Alpine and Mediterranean worlds. And it shows: palm trees and snowy peaks, swimming pools and well-preserved castles perched on rugged cliffs are all part of the landscape. Set off to explore the picturesque Waalweg paths and the great hiking trails in the area!
